Uk  Sunrise   Solutions Ethical Labour Provider & Employment Services Poland

How does the service work and why are we more cost effective compared to Temporary Labour Providers?

Sunrise Solutions is not a Temporary Labour Provider.

We provide workers, under our Flexible Apprenticeship Scheme, who want to work for you permanently. This is how the service operates:

To get the best workers, some level of commitment must be provided by you, the Client. Some of these people are relocating hundreds of miles to work for you. You need to have the fore-sight and planning capabilities to ensure that the people you need will be in work for at least 6 months, preferably becoming permanent for the more suitable worker. If you were a prospective worker would you move home or even country, for less?

An hourly charge rate, comparable to a Temp Agency rate, is agreed. The hourly charge rate covers the pay rate (set by the Client), holiday pay, employer's National Insurance contributions and a small percentage to cover Sunrise Solutions administration costs. Then a 6 months Fixed Term Contract and Job Description is agreed, to show your commitment to the prospective worker.

Armed with this Contract and Job Description, Sunrise Solutions then sources the required workers, either locally or from European Member States. In the later case, applicants are interviewed at our associate over-seas offices. If spoken English is important, this is verified, references are checked, and the worker is Police Checked in their own country.

The successful candidate's travel arrangements are co-ordinated to facilitate our airport pickup service in the UK and before they leave their home country, an example accomodation list is supplied so they have somewhere to stay, local to the Client's workplace, if they are having trouble finding their own accomodation. Once in the UK, the Workers Registration Scheme paperwork is sent to the Home Office. This is a very important part of the process. To guarantee the paperwork has gone (ultimately the responsibility of the new worker) Sunrise Solutions sends the paperwork in on their behalf. We also pay for the Registration. The new worker is taken to their chosen accomodation, introduced personally to the Client, carry out the Client's induction and Health and Safety process and if necessary, instructed on public transport links or car share options. The new worker is also guided through the application process for a National Insurance Number and helped with the paperwork for opening a bank account. In all cases, Sunrise Solutions recognises that a new employee will work for the Client to the best of their abilities if the stress, confusion and financial burden accrued by moving home and starting a new job is kept to an absolute minimum.

For the length of the Contract, the Client faxes to our office a signed weekly timesheet for the preceeding week. The worker is employed by Sunrise Solutions so we pay his/her wages by BACS, send the payslip, look after PAYE, NIC and holiday pay. The only deductions we make from the worker's payslip is for repayment of the WRS payment, in manageable interest-free amounts. Relevant Union subscription may also be deducted if applicable. No other deductions are made as we do not supply accomodation or transport. This is a very important point. Some unscrupulous Providers have a low charge rate but have a whole range of grossly inflated deductions on the workers pay, to maximise profit at the expense of the worker.

On receipt of the timesheet an invoice is issued to the Client for payment within the time stated in the Terms and Conditions.

During the Contract if there are any problems with the worker's conduct, Sunrise Solutions will liase between Client and worker. If the worker is deemed unsuitable for the job, the worker will be replaced as per relevant Terms and Conditions, by one that appears more suitable, with a new Fixed-Term Contact. This gives the flexibility demanded by the Client so that they know they have the best possible worker for that particular job.

Towards the end of the Fixed-Term Contract, discussion will be entered concerning the Clients needs at Contract end. The Client has two choices. The first option is for the Client to directly employ the worker who is then simply paid at the Client's standard rate without premium. This transfer is carried out free of charge. The worker is given his P45 by Sunrise Solutions and his details are forwarded onto your payroll department. The second option for the Client is to extend the Contract for a fixed term or indefinately. In this case Sunrise Solutions remains the employer and is responsible for all payroll and administration.

Sunrise Solutions, its practises and procedures are authorised and subject to audit by the Gangmasters Licensing Authority (GLA). We are the supplier of choice for the Transport and General Workers Union (TGWU), have a working agreement with the Bakers, Food and Allied Workers' Union (BFAWU) and part of the steering commitee for the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI).

Think about it. It's different. It works!
